📌Furries and Fried Chicken (October 10 | 7 PM)
If you thought bb.q Chicken was good, Pelicana in my opinion is simply the best fried chicken restaurant in San Antonio. I am going to attempt the hot spicy fried chicken challenge but you're more than welcome to have some because I will do a full order of this to see how spicy their hot spicy sauce really is and what you think about it. They also have the soy garlic sauce for fried chicken, which in my opinion will rock your world. Because they got sauce and can offer you gloves before you eat fried chicken, it's best that you leave your fursuits at home so they don't get dirty.

✨SPECIAL: HIGHLIGHTED EVENTS AND CREATORS AT ALAMO CITY FURRY INVASION ✨
River City Furry Events is a community group that comes with a "community first" mindset. We leave the cliques and the messy stuff at the door, because everybody deserves a spot at the table. What sets us apart from other groups is that we work to serve the community, not our brand or our image. Everything we do comes back to making this a place where folks can show up, be themselves, and feel like they belong.
That's what this special section of our calendar is all about. Here you'll find events at ACFI run by the community of Lone Star Furries, or ones that directly touch the hearts of community members. Most of the events listed below are run by local community members: photographers, writers, artists, fursuit makers, and so much more. It's WHO we are as a community.
Furthermore, we also have a list of highlighted creators! These are local San Antonio creators, folks who orbit the San Antonio and Austin community, and creators from all over Texas who dedicate so much to the local community by vending statewide.
Just a heads up, these highlights are not a list of favorites. They show a connection to the community as a whole. If you see any of them at their tables, tell them thank you and let them know we sent y'all! 💜

We have chips cupcakes and drinks set about for everyone to grab (please keep the areas clean), this is a chill space for people to be able to just relax and take a break from the main show. So think of it as a breakroom/snack area with good music and vibes! There will also be a universal light projector of space patterns since the room will be on the dimmer side, but thats about it! Oh and fursuits are super welcome! (Would love to take some cool pictures) Hope to see yall there! :)
